 It has been argued that the voting system of the Conference is problematic since major organisations which are generally more liberal such as the [[Union of American Hebrew Congregations]] and the [[United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism]] (each with around 1.5 million American Jewish members) get one vote on the board, as do groups with smaller congragations and less liberal attitutdes like the [[Orthodox Union]], the [[Zionist Organization of America]], and [[American Friends of Likud]].
