The journal focuses on crime and society but includes articles written from sociological, historical, philosophical, geographical, psychological, cultural, political, or policy standpoints. <ref name= "About"/>

All articles within this journal must undergo a peer review process. This means that all articles within this journal are reviewed anonymously and separately by at least two reviewers from the Journal’s Editorial Board or International Editorial Board.
