[[Accurist]] was founded in 1946 in Clerkenwell by Asher and Rebecca Loftus. The Sunday Times Rich List (2009) named brothers [[Anthony Louis Loftus]], Andrew and [[Richard Ian Loftus]] as running Accurist plus Baker Street property; family wealth was then put at £45 million. Control of Accurist left the family in 2014 when Time Products (Sekonda) bought the brand.
