Dr Wolfhart Hauser is a director of LogicaCMG and currently chief executive officer of Intertek Group plc, a listed company, having been appointed to their board as a non-executive director in 2002. Intertek is a global leader in testing, inspection and certification of products, commodities and systems, operating in 110 countries. Wolfhart started his career as a scientist and medical doctor before establishing and leading a broad range of successful international service businesses in the testing industry. For 10 years he was chief executive officer of TüV Süddeutschland AG, the largest testing, inspection and certification company in Germany [1].
