Will Tanner is a lobbyist who was deputy head of prime minister Theresa May's policy unit at Number 10 from 2016 until June 2017.

He will join Portland Communications in September 2017.

According to Public Affairs News,

A Portland source said Tanner would "advise clients on the policy priorities of the Conservative government, including Brexit". The role of chief policy adviser at Portland was previously held by Lord O’Shaughnessy, now a junior minister at the Department for Health
