Wesley Ball

Wesley Ball is the current secretary to the Labour Party and director of political services. [1]

Ball was special adviser to minister Hilary Benn at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from January 2009 until 2010, he continued advising Benn after Labour's loss in the general election, until 2011.[1]

During the 2010 general election, Ball ran the briefing operation for the then prime minister Gordon Brown. Ball has also worked in campaigns and public affairs for NGOs. He has advised political parties in Botswana and Macedonia on campaign strategy. [1]
