Wachovia Corporation is a financial services company, headquartered in Charlotte, North Caroline. Founded in 1908, the company was acquired by Wells Fargo in 2008.

  • Robert K. Steel, who was President and CEO from July 2008, was Under Secretary, Domestic Finance, U.S. Department of the Treasury from 2006 to 2008.[1]
