:Vincent Oratore started his career in the tax department of Linklaters and Paines (now [[Linklaters]]) qualifying in 1986 and specialising in financial instruments and M&A. In 1993 he became a Board director of J. Henry Schroder Wagg (now [[Citibank]]) focussing on tax enhanced capital market transactions for Schroder's clients. In 1997 he became a Managing Director at [[Merrill Lynch]] (now [[Bank of America]]) where he worked on the full range of Debt and Equity transactions including Hybrid Capital. In 2002 he became a Managing Director at [[Banque AIG]], a subsidiary of [[AIG]] (now a subsidiary of the [[Federal Reserve]]) where he did a series of cross border structured finance transactions. Vincent Oratore is President of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), a partner at Big 4 accountancy firm Ernst & Young and a member of the goverment's Tax Professionals Forum.

Career

According to his CIOT biog:

Vincent Oratore started his career in the tax department of Linklaters and Paines (now Linklaters) qualifying in 1986 and specialising in financial instruments and M&A. In 1993 he became a Board director of J. Henry Schroder Wagg (now Citibank) focussing on tax enhanced capital market transactions for Schroder's clients.
