  • Professor Richard Davies, head of the Durham Energy Institute (DEI), partners include BP, Chevron and Shell and UK fracking company IGas. Davies previously spent seven years in the petroleum industry in Aberdeen, London and Houston with ExxonMobil, working on development and exploration projects. Has reportedly received over a million pounds in grants directly from oil and gas companies in recent years.
