Davies's ex-Westminster and Whitehall credentials are highlighted on Newgate’s ‘Supporting you through Brexit’ brochure, which boasts: ‘Tomos brings…unique insight into the way Government works, having been both a civil servant and a Special Adviser to two Cabinet Ministers’. [1]

On Davies appointment, Gavin Devine said:

'We are delighted to have recruited Tomos to join our team. He has unique insight into the way this Conservative Government operates, as well as a deep understanding of the way politics and regulation impacts on business.' [2]

Conservative Parliamentary candidate in 2017 election

Davies ran unsuccessfully as a Conservative candidate in the June 2017 election.
