Tom Attwood

Tom Attwood is chair of the Department for Education's Academies and Free Schools Board, which is responsible for supervising academy schools across England.[1]

Attwood is also Chairman of private equity firm, HgCapital LLP.

He was also a Director of Impetus–PEF (Private Equity Foundation) and a Director of the Centre for Social Justice.

Links to academy schools

As well as his post overseeing academy schools in England, Attwood is founder and chair of the Attwood Academies Trust. He was, until 2013, a trustee of Kemnal Academies Trust.

Attwood is also a supporter ('Patron') of Academy Ambassadors.[2]
