Timothy Lynch is Senior Lecturer in US Foreign Policy at the Institute for the Study of the Americas at the University of London, where he teaches graduate courses on US foreign policy during the Cold War, a course on Neo-Conservatism in US foreign policy. He has taught extensively at university level in the US, UK and Ireland, and is a regular commentator on television and radio. He is the author of Turf War: The Clinton Administration and Northern Ireland (Ashgate, 2004). A Fulbright scholar, he holds a PhD in political science from Boston College (2003). From 2000-2003 Tim was Director of the Boston College Centre, Dublin, when he worked extensively on the Northern Ireland Transition Programme. He is currently writing a history of US foreign policy after the Cold War.[1]
