The International Coalition Against Prohibition (TICAP) describes itself as a 'collection of regional, national, and international organisations, now bound in solidarity against the damaging prohibitions which in most cases serve to enrich special interests through scientific fraud and political manipulation, where adults are treated as children and freedom of choice is brushed aside'.[2]

The second World Conference of TICAP was held in the Hague on the 15th March 2010.

The conference notes explained that 'Special thanks and recognition should go to Christoph Lövenich and Bill Gibson for all their efforts in bringing this conference to successful fruition, and to Wiel Maessen for his careful and expert attention to various, including the technical, aspects of the conference, and his gracious hosting of three of our speakers throughout their stays'.[6]
