Terence Mordaunt is co-owner of the Bristol Port Company alongside David Ord. They purchased the Port of Bristol from Bristol City Council in 1991.

In April 2017 Mordaunt joined the board of the climate-sceptic Global Warming Policy Forum (GWPF) think tank, which includes British businessmen Edward Atkin CBE and Neil Record. [1]
