Specialist Group International (SGI) was formed in 1995 by its chief executive Peter Faulding.

It provides specialist rescue response and forensic search services to police, fire and other government agencies, and has 'carried out all of the major protester removal operations since the Newbury Bypass in 1995 including “Swampy” at the A30 Honiton Bypass'. [1] Specialist Rescue
