Sammy Wilson has been the DUP MP for East Antrim since 2005.[1] In the 2015 general election, Wilson was re-elected with a majority of 5,795. [2]

In June 2008, Wilson was appointed Minister of the Environment in the Northern Ireland Executive, and in June 2009, he took on the role of Minister of Finance and Personnel.[3]
