Sally Greene, together with husband Robert Bourne, gave £100,000 to the Labour Party in 1999-2000.

She is a former actress and theatre impressario, Managing Director of the Old Vic Theatre in London (which her husband gave £1 million in 1999). The Old Vic Theatre Trust is chaired by Lord Alex Bernstein. Peter Mandelson also sits on the Board. Sally Greene runs the trust which owns the Criterion Theatre in Piccadilly Circus, London.

She began managing theatres in 1992 after Robert Bourne bought the Richmond Theatre and asked her to head the Trust he set up to run it. Richmond Council underwrote the deal and has now been stuck with an £11 million bill for loan repayments after the Trust failed to keep up its payments. She is now developing the Collins Music Hall in Islington.
