Richard Manning is a former member of the UK Department for International Development and is currently on the Global Development Advisory Panel.

Career

Manning served in the UK Department for International Development and its predecessors from 1965-2003. His roles included director-general of South East Asia development division of overseas development agency, 1996-2003, secondment to the British High Commission, Lagos, 1968-1970, UK permanent representation to the European Communities, 1973-1975, and alternate executive director at the World Bank, 1984-1986.[1][2]
