Richard Cousins has been Chief Executive Officer of Compass Group Plc since 1 June 2006. Between 1990 and 2005, he worked for BPB Plc becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2000. He began his career with Cadbury Schweppes plc, then spent six years with BTR plc in supply chain management and corporate planning. He was previously a Non-executive Director of Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co and was appointed a Non-executive director of HBOS plc on 1 March 2007 [1].
