Polly Billington is a former labour party special adviser. Billington now works for Citizens Advice a national charity that aims to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives. [1]

Backgroud

Billington was a journalist for the BBC for 15 years, where she reported for the Today programme and was the first ever dedicated political correspondent for Radio1 Newsbeat. Now she lives in Grays, in the heart of Thurrock, and works for a national charity, Citizens Advice. [2] She played a key role in Ed Miliband's leadership campaign and worked closely with him on energy and climate change, and was also an adviser to the Labour Party from 2010-2013. [3]
