Peter Ruddock is a former high ranking officer of the British Royal Air Force and Ministry of Defence who is now chief executive of the global aerospace and defence company Lockheed Martin.

Military career

Ruddock was a senior member of the Royal Air Force, with notable roles including Officer Commanding RAF Coningsby, Air Commodore Defensive Operations, Director of Air Staff, Air Secretary, and Air Component Commander.

He was also Director General of Saudi Armed Forces Projects with the Ministry of Defence between Jun 2006 - March 2011.[1][2] <ref="Ruddock"> *Campaign Against the Arms Trade, Sir Peter Ruddock Meetings with UK Government while working for industry </ref>

Revolving Door

After retiring from the armed forces, Ruddock took up a role as director of business development at aerospace and defence company Lockheed Martin in July 2011.[1]. He was appointed chief executive in January 2016.

Since working for Lockheed, Ruddock has had 11 meetings with the UK government, the most recent of these (x4) in November 2016. [3]
