New Scientist is a weekly non-peer-reviewed international science magazine,[1] founded in 1956 and since 1996 also runs a website, covering recent developments in science and technology for a general audience. It is owned by Reed Business Information a division of Reed Elsevier.

New Scientist is based in London, England, and publishes editions in the UK, the United States, and Australia. Sumit Paul-Choudhury became editor in 2011,[2] following Roger Highfield's move to the National Museum of Science and Industry in London.[3]

Affiliations

Science Media Centre, received donations from the New Scientist in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
