Neil McKay has had a long career in healthcare in the UK. He is currently chair of Manchester NHS’s cardiac management board.[1]

In 2000 McKay was appointed Chief Operating Officer for the Department of Health. He has also been chair of the NHS Operational Board, Chief Executive of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (appointed 2002), and Chief Executive of the East of England Strategic Health Authority (appointed 2006), where was one of the co-founders of the Strategic Projects Team.[3]
