Miranda Kirschel is Head of European Business Development, Nuclear at Atkins (n.triple.a) in France.
She was previously the Corporate Affairs Manager for the UK's Nuclear Industry Association and Director of Business Development for CH2M HILL.
In 2007 Kirschel was coordinator for the All Party Parliamentary Group on Nuclear Energy, and co-Chair of the Young Generation Network (YGN) for the nuclear industry.[1]
In 2007 Kirschel spun the way nuclear is re-inventing itself: "The UK nuclear industry is at a pivotal point in its history. With an excellent safety record and a string of benefits to offer, it is being released from past prejudices, and re-emerging as a clean, secure and sustainable contributor to a diverse and balanced energy mix."[2]
