Mayfayre Associates was private security company created by Alec Leighton and Keith Lindsay Hunter, two former Metropolitan police officers who would be caught up in various scandals. Hunter would be come best known for ISC Global and RISC Management, working with Nigel Brown, while Leighton would subsequently found Charterhouse Investigations.

  • Brian Wiggins: born 1951, he is a former Met detective constable who ran the Reading based Alliance International Detective Agency in 1986, when he was instrumental in the arrest of an escaped prisoner, Joseph Hanson.[9][10]
  • John Campbell: born 1955, he is described as a Security Manager;[11] he is also a director of Sintrax Services Ltd (1992 he was a founding director along with Stephanie Gail Campbell; since dissolved)[12] and Mobell Ltd.[13]
  • Joanne Rose Scrimshaw: born 1959, a self-employed book-keeper / accountant with Woking based Parkview Book-keeping.[14]
  • Ian Joyes: born 1959, he was also a director of Metshield Executive Recruitment Ltd 18 March to 17 July 1995.[15]. Metshield was part of the Metropolitan Personal Security Services group of companies run by Stephen John Clarke, who would be subsequently a director of another Alec Leighton company, Charterhouse Investigations.
  • Kenneth Beever: born 1944; a security consultant; registered address is 11 Moorfield, Mill Road, Holmwood, Dorking, Surrey, RH5 4NZ; director of Moorfields Management Ltd from 11 Nov 1999 to 1 Sept 2002.[16][17] In 1986, he had been police officer of 22 years, and was a Detective Sergeant working Fraud related a cases in Richmond for the Metropolitan police; there, with his partner DC Terry (Terence) Wright, he became involved with the investigation into the US murder of the Haysom family. Previously had served in the central drug squad and at Heathrow Airport.[18]
  • Janet Beever: born 1948, she is registered to the same address as Kenneth Beever, and does not appear elsewhere.[19]
