Max Chambers

Max Chambers is special adviser for Home Affairs and Justice in the Number 10 Policy Unit. [1] Chambers took on the home affairs brief that was left vacant following Patrick Rock’s resignation in February 2014. [2] He will advise the Prime Minister on a range of domestic policy issues including criminal justice, policing, immigration and counter-terrorism. [1]

Background

Chambers read law at Nottingham University. Chambers has worked for a leading welfare-to-work provider, where he helped to establish and grow a new justice services division. Prior to this, he worked for Policy Exchange as Senior Research Fellow. He has also worked in Parliament for the Shadow Justice and Home Affairs teams. [1]
