Sir Martyn Arbib is one of the UK's wealthiest financiers and a heavyweight donor to the Conservative Party.

He is the founder of fund management company Invesco Perpetual, which he sold in 2001 for more than £1 billion, receiving £113 million in cash and shares worth an estimated £300 million.

Tory donations

As of February 2014 Arbib had donated around £466,330 to the Tories.

The financier owns a 28.7% stake in Circle Holdings, the parent company Circle Health which has landed £1.36billion worth of NHS contracts.
