Mark Wallace was appointed executive editor of ConservativeHome website in April 2013. [1]

He was previously a senior account manager at the lobbying firm Portland and previously worked for the right-wing single issue think tank the Taxpayers' Alliance.

Career

Mark joined Portland as a Senior Account Manager in 2010. Prior to the move, he was Campaign Director at the TaxPayers’ Alliance, managing national campaigns and a busy press office for one of the UK’s most high profile pressure groups.
Experienced in dealing with national and regional media and a wide range of different issues, his campaigns for the TPA included national cinema advertising, high profile media stunts and a national “Debt Clock” tour during the 2010 General Election. He has dealt extensively with long-term campaigns, set piece media opportunities, proactive and reactive PR and specialises in generating creative media ideas.

Mark’s broadcast credits include Newsnight, the Today Programme, the Jeremy Vine Show, BBC Breakfast, ITV News at Ten, Sky News and CNBC. [2]
