Marcus Fysh is the Conservative Party Member of Parliament for Yeovil. [1]

Fysh defeated Liberal Democrats David Laws, who had previously held the seat since 2001 [2], with a majority of 5,313. [1]

Background

Fysh initially worked in the business industry for Mercury Asset Management from 1993 until 2003. He has also worked as a member of South Somerset district council and as a county councillor for the Coker division. [3]
