Mavinder Singh Banga (born 31 October 1954) is an Operating Partner at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice LLC and a director of Hakluyt's international advisory board The Holdingham Group Advisory Board.

Career

Banga joined Clayton, Dubilier & Rice LLC on June 2010[1] and The Holdingham Group Advisory [2] on 1 December 2010.

He has held previous senior executive positions with Unilever, is a member of the Prime Minister of India’s Council on Trade & Industry and is a director of Marks and Spencer plc and B&M Stores Ltd.[1]

Education

  • Bachelor of Technology in mechanical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
  • Postgraduate degree in management at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.[1]

Personal Life

His brother, Ajay Banga, is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of MasterCard.
