Lucy Allan is the Conservative Party MP for Telford. [1] The Conservatives gained the Telford seat from the Labour Party as Allan was elected in May 2015 with a majority of 730 and 40 per cent of the vote over David Wright, the former MP for this constituency. [1]

Background

Previously, Allan worked as a councillor for Wandsworth Borough Council from 2006 until 2012. [2]

Other roles have also included non executive director for NHS London SHA from 2008 to 2011, head of investment trusts at Gartmore an investment management company from 1997 to 2001 and insolvency and business turnaround at PwC from 1987 to 1997. [2]
