Liz Sanderson was appointed a special adviser and head of features to British prime minister Theresa May in July 2016. [1]

Sanderson is a former journalist with the Mail.[2] In July 2013 she broke the news that May had type 1 diabetes. [3] She also was briefly appointed as an interim special adviser to May in 2015.
