The Legatum Institute is a London-based think tank that decribes itself as an 'independent policy, advocacy and advisory organisation'.

Its stated aim is "To advance human liberty and a more prosperous and secure world, through researching and promoting the integration of human dignity, liberty, and development." [1]

According to libertarian activist Simon Clark, it is affiliated to the Liberty League, whose purpose is "to help inform, recruit and develop supporters of liberty", among students.[2]
