Lee Holly Davis has been appointed as a special adviser to Nicky Morgan in the Department for Education. Davis was appointed in October 2014 and is said to work with an “initiative aimed at promoting peace amongst school-aged children in the Middle East”. [1]

Background

Davis is currently a governor at Friern Barnet School. She previously worked at the think-tank Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) as lead researcher on educational failure. Davis prior to this was a researcher at CSJ, where she assisted with research across the policy team, particularly focusing on the voluntary sector strand of Breakthrough Britain II. [2] Holly worked as a distributor care provider at Tahitian Noni International, where she managed relationships with distributors in the UK as well as international markets. Previous to this, she worked as an accommodation officer at Hosts International. [2]
