L3 Technologies was previously known as L3 Communications, one of the world's largest arms and security equipment suppliers. It is an American company and reported sales of $10.5 billion in 2015.

L-3 is also a government contractor in aerospace systems, security and detection systems and pilot training.

Revolving door employer

In Britain, the company employs a number of high-ranking former military officers and a former Conservative government minister. They include:

Meetings with UK ministers

L3 Technologies met with the UK minister for defence procurement, Harriett Baldwin In September 2017 to 'discuss defence issues' according to the MOD's meetings register published December 2017. [3]
