Kirsten Rausing is the granddaughter of Ruben Rausing, founder of food packaging company, Tetra Pak.

She is estimated to be worth $5.2 Billion, making her the most 290th richest person in the world.[1]

Family business

Kirsten runs the family business more than anyone else, being the eldest child of Gad Rausing who bought his brother's 50 percent share of the business in 1995.

She sits on the board of Tetra Pak with her brothers Finn Rausing and Jorn Rausing.

Kirsten holds an interest in horses, having had the family stud farm left to her by her grandfather in 1967, also running ones in Ireland and Newmarket. In 2003 she resigned as a director of the National Stud because a new chairman was appointed without he being consulted.[2]
