The Jewish Federation Of Greater Philadelphia is philanthropic foundation whose cited mission is:

'to mobilize financial and volunteer resources to address the community's most critical priorities in Greater Philadelphia, in Israel and around the world.'

It created the Israel Advocacy Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. Its aim is 'to empower Jews and non-Jews in the Greater Philadelphia area to support Israel as the democratic nation-state of the Jewish people, with the absolute right to live in peace and security as a member of the community of nations. The IAC engages the community in activities that build a positive relationship with Israel by educating about Israel and encouraging political support for Israel, while supporting individuals and organizations that share this goal. The IAC encourages and promotes dialogue among individuals and organizations whose views fall within the broad spectrum of viewpoints based on support for Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.'
