Jeremy Beadles is head of the UK based Wine & Spirit Trade Association (est 1824), which represents the interests of the wine and spirits industry including: producers, importers, wholesalers, bottlers, warehouse keepers, logistics specialists, brand owners, licensed retailers and consultants.

In November 2010 he was appointed co-chair of the UK Coalition government's new "responsibility deal" alcohol network, set up by health secretary Andrew Lansley to be at the heart of his public health policy. [1]
