Jeremy Beadles is head of the UK based Wine & Spirit Trade Association (est 1824), which represents the interests of the wine and spirits industry including: producers, importers, wholesalers, bottlers, warehouse keepers, logistics specialists, brand owners, licensed retailers and consultants.

In November 2010 he was appointed co-chair of the UK Coalition government's new "responsibility deal" alcohol network, one of five such networks set up by health secretary Andrew Lansley to be at the heart of government public health policy. [1]
