Jacob Willmer

Jacob Willmer is a special adviser to Greg Clark. He worked with Clark whilst he was minister of state for universities, science and cities[1] and after Clark was appointed as business, energy and industrial strategy secretary from June 2016.

Career

Willmer worked for the Conservative Party as a press officer from 2008 to 2013.

In March 2013 he joined communications company Albany Associates Ltd. In this role he travelled to Africa to work as the Kismayo regional team leader in the UN information support team for Somalia and the communications adviser to the Prime Minister of Somalia.

In November 2014 he joined the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills as a special adviser.[2]
