Ian Paisley Junior is a Northern Ireland politician and the son of former Northern Ireland First Minister Ian Paisley.

Ian Paisley Jr resigned from his post as a minister in the Northern Ireland Executive at Stormont in February 2008 in the wake of revelations that he was employed as a research assistant by his father and received a salary from the UK Parliament.[1] It was reported in August 2008 that the complaint which led to his resignation had been dismissed.[2]
