Dr Ian Hudson is a physician who practiced as a paediatrician for a number of years, before working in the pharmaceutical industry in clinical research and development between 1989 and 2001. He is currently the chief executive of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, a role that he was appointed to in September 2013. [1]
