Ian Blair is the former Metropolitan Police Commissioner.[1]

He was awarded a peerage in the dissolution honours list on 28 May 2010.[2]

Ian Blair was Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police when Jean Charles De Menezes was killed at Stockwell Tube Station and the Forest Gate Raid, in which a man was shot and wounded, took place.

Former interests

In November 2014 the Wall Street Journal undertook some research on the interests of the House of Lords, they found Blair was the chairman of Blue Light Global Solutions a consultancy in relation to policing and security, nationally and internationally. However this was then deleted from his parliament profile on the 23rd of October 2014.[3][4]
