Helen Whately has been the Conservative Party Member of Parliament for Faversham and Mid Kent since May 2015. [1]

Following the retirement of Sir Hugh Robertson, who had served the constituency from 2001 until 2015, Whately stood in her first election in 2015 and defended the seat for the Conservatives with a majority of 16,652. [2]
