Harry Harpham

Harry Harpham was elected the Labour Party Member of Parliament for Sheffield, Brightside and Hillsborough in May 2015. He passed away on 4 February 2016 only 9 months after the election.[1][2]

Harpham was appointed as the Labour candidate for the May 2015 general election following the retirement of David Blunkett, who had previously held the seat since 2010 and prior to that the Sheffield, Brightside seat since 1987. [3] In the 2015 general election Harpham secured his seat with a majority of 13,807. [1]
