Hamira Khan (formerly Hamira Sarwar) is chief executive of the Scottish Youth Parliament. [1]
Khan is a former PR and communications specialist and was Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Glasgow East for the Conservative Party. She sat on the advisory board of the short lived Conservative linked think tank Social Justice Scotland. She 'set up the Scottish Conservatives Community Cohesion Task Force and holds the position of Chair'.[2][3] She was selected as the Westminster candidate for Glasgow East to fight the 2010 General Election.[4]
