Gay Collins is a founding partner of Montfort and a former executive chairman of MHP Communications.

Career

Collins began her career selling eurobonds to fund managers at Merrill Lynch and Dean Witter. She was then involved in a management buyout to set up Ludgate Communications, which was subsequently sold to Interpublic Group.[1]

Collins then set up Penrose Financial Limited in 1998. In 2010 Penrose, Mandate and Hogarth merged to form MHP Communications, with Collins installed as the executive chairman of the new agency.[2]

In December 2014 Collins announced she would be stepping down from her role at MHP, citing the need for a break and her other commitments.[1]

In 2015 she joined Montfort, an Mayfair-based agency set up M:Communications founders Nick Miles and Hugh Morrison.[3]
