Fred Eshelman is the founder and Executive Chairman of Phamaceutical Product Development.[1][2]

The School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was named in honor of Fred Eshelman, a 1972 graduate of the School.[4] Eshelman has received the William Richardson Davie Award.[5]
