Francine Bates is a former UK government special adviser who now works at the Lullaby Trust, [1] a national charity that provides expert advice on safer sleep for babies, raising awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and supporting bereaved parents. [2]

Background

Bates first worked as a research assistant in the House of Commons, then as deputy chief executive for Carers UK. [1]

She worked at Westminster as a special adviser to the former Department of Children, Schools and Families for three years. [1]
