Located in Morristown, New Jersey, the F.M. Kirby Foundation is a family foundation. It was founded by Fred Morgan Kirby in 1931.

Its website states that: 'The goal is to invest in opportunities that foster self-reliance or otherwise create strong, healthy communities.' And:

'Successful new applicants tend to be organizations already well known to one or more of the directors of the Foundation, and/or other members of the family.' [1]
